The black Pug The fawn Pug red, yellow, blue or white. The Pug, although not so popu-lar as he was twenty years ago, is still in favor for the house,and being a short-coated dog he is easy to keepin condition, the only failing with the breed istheir tendency to get too fat, but that is morethe fault of the owner than the dog. There aretwo types—the Fawn and the Black. In theformer the mask, ears and mark down the cen-ter of the back should be black. In both breedsthe head should be heavily wrinkled after themanner of the mastiff, which, by the way, heresembles in miniature except so far as his tailis concerned.
