Text Appearing Before Image:
View from one of the large windows size. The central hall of the second storyis over thirty feet square, inclusive of thestair opening. One of the pleasantestfeatures in the planning of this section ofthe house is to be found in the arrange-ment of the stairs leading to the thirdstory. Instead of the stereotyped planof an open well hole from the basementto the attic, the stairs leading up from thesecond story are placed to one side of thetop of the first flight, under an archway.
Text Appearing After Image:
is admirably knitted to its site and in thorough keeping with the natural beauty of the shore
